Why are we doing this?

Late last year, we released our mini album "Hello Future, Our Name is Swound!". Fast forward a few months and all our CDs have nearly sold out. So, to let the poor people that missed out get in on the action, we’re making it downloadable.

We decided to add a catch though, because we like doing stupid things. In order to get this most savoury collection of songs you need to first submit a challenge for us to try and complete. It can be literally anything you can think of. We’ll try our best to complete every challenge that has been submitted to us and film or photograph our efforts before uploading the results to this site.

Next comes the genius and completely revolutionary part, something no band has ever tried before… When you’ve given us a challenge, you then get to choose how much you want to pay for the songs!!! Seriously, you could pick anything! We won’t even stop you if you want to pay a million pounds. When you’ve done this, "Hello Future" is yours to download.

In life, there are two ways of getting people to do ANYTHING you want. The first is to chant their name and clap until they do it. The second is to make it an official challenge. For example, Lloyd completely refused to be zipped into his bass drum bag until we made it "The Bass Drum Bag Challenge".

Clapping and chanting is difficult to do online, so we decided to base this page around the second method. In the past, we’ve done things we wouldn’t normally have done because we’re rubbish at backing down from a challenge. We just thought that by knocking it up a notch, it would give us the opportunity to do something pretty fun.
